Is there Parking at Sam Houston Park?
Not much. Sam Houston Park has no public garage of its own. Most visitors end up circling the metered blocks on Bagby and Lamar, watching a meter run.
Sam Houston Park parking on the street works for a quick stop. For a two-hour docent tour or a long afternoon by Buffalo Bayou, a covered garage with no meter to feed takes the worry off your plate. That's the gap we fill.
What Does Parking Near Sam Houston Park Cost?
Our rates are posted and flat. You pay $6 for the first hour, and the rate caps at $10 for a full day, whether your car sits for 3 hours or 12. The Heritage Society says a tour of the historic buildings runs about two hours, so most park visitors land on the $10 daily max.
